Physician Assistant (PA-C)

David Anderson has worked in healthcare for 9 years, been a PA-C for more than 5 years, and is excited to bring Optimal Family Medicine to Bountiful, Utah where he grew up. He loves this community and enjoys helping people find solutions to their health problems and illnesses. He is known for his excellent bedside manner, ensuring that patients always feel safe and comfortable. His hobbies include beekeeping, basketball, reading, and spending time with his wife and 3 kids.

Doctor (DO)

Dr. Justen Watkins is a primary care physician with over 10 years experience. He has served as a hospital Medical Director, a County Medical Director, and Regional Medical Director for a national telemedicine corporation. He has also completed a fellowship in Functional Medicine by Institute for Functional Medicine, and is a fellow of the University of Arizona's Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

Office Manager

Leslie Chan brings a variety of healthcare experience including hospital, home care, and public health. Her favorite job will always include teaching individuals simple ways to improve their dietary habits. She is excited to bring her knowledge and skills to the Optimal family. When not working she enjoys gardening, traveling to see the magnificent world, and is always learning new and creative things with her husband and three children.

Medical Assistant (MA)

Misha is excellent at helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and informed during their visits. She assists with vital signs, procedures, and daily care needs. She loves being part of a team that truly cares about making a difference. When she's not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Receptionist

Adrienne Anderson is our hardworking receptionist who wears many hats around the clinic. When she's not helping us out, she enjoys interior design, spending time outside, and caring for her three children.
